Looks like Martin Lawrence still has some cash in the stash, at least enough to buy the sprawling mansion that he’s now trying to unload. The estate doesn’t come cheap, and is listed at $26.5 million.
Located in Beverly Hills, the home just happens to be where the comedian wed longtime girlfriend, Shamicka Gibbs, in 2010. After a total of 15 years together, Gibbs and Lawrence split last year –which is probably why he’s looking to downsize.
Although he has three children– two of which he shares with Gibbs– Lawrence may not need too much space. Aside from boasting 15,000-square feet, seven bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, marble entry ways, a movie theater (with a concession stand), the mansion sits on 2.2 acres of land. There are also wine and dinning rooms, a formal living room, game room, and grand family room.
Lawrence previously rented out the property for $200,000 per month.
Unlike some of his peers (sorry, Chris Tucker) the Maryland native has side-stepped financial issues, and maintained a reported net worth of $110 million.
