Watching Movies With The Sound Off is shaping up to be much more than an oddly titled album. After delivering a few quality singles from the project, Mac Miller debuts his highly anticipated collaboration, “Suplexes Inside Of Complexes and Duplexes.”

This track finds the Pittsburgh MC spitting alongside the one and only Jay Electronica. How Miller managed to get a verse from the “Exhibit C” rapper is beyond us.

Nevertheless, the duo come with potent rhymes in tow over some cinematic production courtesy of Mac himself under his production alias Larry Fisherman. Eerie chords set the scene, while drums that fall on and off beat match the quirkiness of both rappers.

Remember that this is a movie in audible form. With that in mind, keep your ears open for Electronica’s numerous references to classic cinema.

Though J. Cole’s Born Sinner and Kanye West’s Yeezus have become the focal point of conversations, Miller also drops his Watching Movies With The Sound Off LP on June 18. Other features include Vinny Radio, Earl Sweatshirt, Ab-Soul, Niki Randa, ScHoolboy Q, and Tyler, The Creator.
