Travi$ Scott takes us to a far away landed called Quintana in the visual for his knocking anthem “Upper Echelon.” You can actually consider this a short film, because it clocks in at just under seven minutes.

The young rapper receives some assistance from T.I. and 2 Chainz, who both play integral roles in the treatment’s narrative. We can’t say that we fully understand the story, but it seems like the G.O.O.D. Music-Hustle Gang affiliate looks to escape the desolate land he calls home.

With that, we see him travel through all forms of chaos run rampant in each scene. This includes everything from elderly women drinking 40 ounces to a knife-toting Kang of the South playing a bully on the block. We think you’ll find the story quite interesting —if anything— to say the least.

As in most cases, Scott handled directorial duties for the video.

“Upper Echelon” appears on Scott’s Owl Pharaoh EP, released last month. The project dons numerous tracks with summer anthem potential, and that’s no lie. Lend an ear to that right here.
