Trips back to the hood are necessary for rappers. At least that proved to be the case in this new visual for “Old Chanel” by Wiz Khalifa and Smoke DZA.
The duo took it to a chicken spot in the latter MC’s Harlem stomping grounds with cameras in tow. Slick Jackson directed the treatment.
Khalifa and DZA spit braggadocios rhymes over slow, syrupy production with a mean baseline. “Smell the kush smoke on my mink/ Jacuzzi bubbles on my Cuban link/ Sipping champagne, smoking marijuana,” raps Wiz. Let the track tell it, possessing vintage fashion accouterments is a top priority.
Catch both rappers on the “Under The Influence Of Music” tour. See the dates here.
Also, the Taylor Gang front man announced the title of his forthcoming album, Blacc Hollywood, moments ago on Twitter. If all goes to plan, fans will receive the project before year’s end.
Until then, check out “Old Chanel” below. See Khalifa’s tweet on the following page.
