U-God releases the video for his latest single, “Fame,” off of his latest album, The Keynote Speaker.

The video is set in many different places that are reminiscent of the Staten Island rapper’s childhood. Spots such as 42nd Street, the NY skyline, and some neighborhood clips ranging from Harlem to Staten Island are intertwined throughout the duration of the song. Viewers get to see some of his posse as they all join him in cameos in the video. In the song itself , Golden Arms reminds listeners that it is not easy, and touches on his lifestyle and confrontation with the cops before the Wu-Tang became a Hip-Hop staple.

U-God is scheduled to be on the new Wu-Tang album, A Better Tomorrow,  that will commemorate their 20 years and counting run in Hip-Hop. The Keynote Speaker is U-God’s first album since 2009’s Dopium. The irony of all of this is that he once sued RZA, but now his album is being released through the Abbot’s own Soul Temple Records.
