The famed Air Jordan 1 haven gotten a lot of love in 2013. We’ve just passed the halfway point of the year, but we’ve already seen notable retros of Michael Jordan’s inaugural shoe. The recent unveiling of the “Formidable Foes” pack infers that this won’t change any time soon.
The dual drop is inspired by the Chicago Bulls’ legendary playoff series with Charles Barkley’s Phoenix Suns and Gary Payton’s Seattle Supersonics take over the classic silhouette.
Both sneakers don premium leather and integrate the colorways of the aforementioned teams’ jerseys.
These kicks are a bit much for me, but they could be a solid purchase for die-hard fans of the Air Jordan 1 or people that simply want to relive a piece of the 90s. See photos of the “Formidable Foes” pack on the following pages.
