Macklemore and Ryan Lewis can add another entertaining visual to their growing cannon of small screen adaptations with “White Walls.” The Hollis and ScHoolboy Q-assisted record from their breakout project The Heist is an ode to their dream Cadillac.
The Seattle rapper plays a quirky hero named “Mackle Jackson” who has twin sidekicks that help him combat wrongdoers. The story doesn’t exactly stay on topic throughout the treatment, so you’ll scenes of the rappers partying with a group of women your grandmother’s age and cruising through in their old school Lacs.
A$AP Rocky, Wiz Khalifa, Trinidad Jame$, DJ Drama, Big Boi, and most surprisingly Sir Mix-A-Lot make cameo appearances.
Lewis directed while his rhyming counterpart handled co-directing duties. See their brainchild, better know as the “White Walls” video, below.
