It’s clearly open season on Drake‘s “Pound Cake” instrumental. After a standout entry from the LOX yesterday, Chicago MC Lupe Fiasco steps up with a worthy take of his own titled “Pound of Flesh (Paris, Tokyo 2).”
Lupe continues to be in super MC form, dropping remind worthy bars loaded with double entendres and all that good stuff over the Boi 1da-produced groove. There have been plenty of Lupe songs, with interesting titles, lately including “SLR 3 (Round Of Applause)” and “SLR2” and “Peace Of Paper Cup Of JAYZUS.” Reportedly, he is working on his new album, Tetsuo & Youth.
