Former Flipmode Squad rapper and purveyor of fine slick lyricism Roc Marciano is dropping a new album mixtape, The Pimpire Strike Back, in November.
We don’t know too much about this project since we were still banking on the release of Marci Beaucoup, which we assume is still on the way, just at a later date. But by the looks of The Pimpire Strikes Back‘s tracklist, you won’t mind the delay.
The LP is 12 tracks deep and features production from Madlib, Evidence, the Alchemist, Arch Druids and Roc Marci himself. Also, it looks like Action Bronson jumps on a pair of tracks; “Sincerely,” which also features Willie Da Kid and “Velvet Cape,” which also features Meyhem Lauren.
While we wait on music from Pimpire, an old Roc Marci and Pete Rock collab called “The Specialist” has hit the Internets, courtesy of Unkut.
