Tyler, The Creator seems happy-go-lucky enough, right? Well, this wasn’t the case after a brief conversation with Black Eyed Peas’ frontman will.i.am that he detailed via Twitter earlier today.
“I MADE A BET WITH WILL I AM FOR A MILLION BUCKS THAT I WILL BE MAKING MONEY 10 YEARS FROM NOW DOING WHAT I LOVE AND NOT WHAT MAKES THE MOST,” read Tyler’s introductory tweet.
That led to a full-on recollection of their encounter, during which the crossover superstar apparently said, “THEN YOU MAKE A DECISION ON WHAT TO DO TO SURVIVE.” In other words, he told the Odd Future MC that his career will come to a point where he’ll have to defer from making music he loves to create songs that are financially viable.
As you can see, that didn’t sit very well with Tyler, who said he’d be making films in the next 10 years.
