MF DOOM isn’t too fond of public appearances, but he’s managed to make a few shillings from brand partnerships (we see you Nike). His latest is with shoe company Clarks Originals, who teamed up with the enigmatic MC on a limited edition Original Wallabee.
This would have been Ghostface if he wasn’t caught up in a love triangle. Nevertheless, the rap OG added a personal touch to the classic. “I was trying to think, ‘What can I add with that Metal Face touch to it?,’ without taking away from that feeling,” DOOM said, referencing the shoe’s clean look. In turn, he made some modifications via reflective piping in the laces, contrast stitching, and a logo placing near the heel for branding purposes.
