Big Boi lead the charge with the first track from the Catch The Throne mixtape, which will accompany the fourth season premiere of HBO’s Game of Thrones. A follow-up release from the project comes from Wale, titled “King Slayer.”
There’s no denying Folarin’s rhyming ability, but his knack for adapting to any kind of production goes understated at times. This time, he attacks a monstrous instrumental that feels as cinematic as the aforementioned series. “Know that my faction too strong/ Know that my passion that throne/ Know that my team is afloat no matter what rafter we on,” the MMG wordsmith raps.
