Which sneakers did you wear yesterday? You clearly missed the wave if they weren’t Nike Air Max shoes, because the brand celebrated Air Max Day for all kicks connoisseurs to enjoy.
To commemorate the 27-year anniversary, Nike threw a party at renowned boutique UNDFTD in Los Angeles. Sponsored by Hennessy V.S, patrons enjoyed complimentary cocktails as shop owner Eddie Cruz, Nike SB athlete Eric Koston, singer Joe Jonas, and Leimert Park’s own Dom Kennedy enjoyed the vibes and spoke to the crowd.
Air Max Day didn’t come without a limited edition pair of OG colorway Air Max 1s with a twist. The classic grey, white, and red upper is back, but the midsole dons a bright-yellow hue.
