No tomorrow is promised, even after there was a promise of a tomorrow. Sadly, Arsenio Hall is seeing that firsthand after his comeback show got the axe today (May 30) after just one season.
Jay Leno himself appeared on the show to give Hall the good news that his show had been picked up for a second season but apparently CBS had a change of heart and decided to put the struggle out of its misery.
If you were colored surprised following the announcement, consider yourself a minority in that department. Any remnants of chill or sympathy for the comedian’s déjà vu cancellation wasn’t offered up immediately after the announcement.
To their credit, Hall appeared often spacey and unable to command the interviews which featured countless celebrities including Eddie Murphy, Wiz Khalifa and entire casts of popular shows. It also featured trendy acts such as Lil TeRio which one Twitter user pointed out was golden grounds for Arsenio to be handed his walking papers.
Where is the love, people? When you scroll through the gallery below, you won’t find any, unfortunately. People can be so hilariously heartless sometimes.
