10. T.I. ft. Iggy Azalea – “No Mediocre”
Producer: DJ Mustard
T.I.P. dropped a song that listeners will either love or hate, but it’s so catchy that the latter group will be dancing to this jam soon enough.
9. GQ ft. Problem & Bad Lucc – “Falls Down”
Producer: 9th Wonder
Jamla shouldn’t be slept on. They’ve a roster of stellar MCs and producers, and have enough connections to deliver a track like this at any time.
8. Raekwon – “Wishing On A Star”
Producer: N/A
This cut is oh so cinematic, and dons a hustlers perspective from a MC who’s made a career of giving listeners the game.
7. Kent M$ney ft. Big Hit – “State Of Emergency”
Producer: Hit-Boy & Haze Banga
HS87 are making one of the best pushes for Rap dominance that we’ve seen this year. This is just the latest release from the crew’s outpour of dope content.
6. PARTYNEXTDOOR – “Her Way”
Producer: N/A
PARTY is back with more playeristic vibes just in time for the summer. This, my friends, is a no simping zone.
5. X Ambassadors & Jamie N Commons ft. Jay Z – “Jungle (Remix)”
Producer: Alex Da Kid & Mike Del Rio
King Hov’s newest bars have been OK at best, with the exception of a few moments. This is one of them.
4. The Game – “Bigger Than Me”
Producer: Mosley
The Compton rapper thinks the Rap game has grown soft. Peep the commentary above.
3. Mike WiLL Made-It ft. Future, Lil Wayne & Kendrick Lamar – “Buy The World”
Producer: Mike WiLL Made It
This is an interesting choice of song for all involved parties with exception to Future Vandross, but it works. Let’s see how the people react.
2. Troy Ave ft. Diddy, Ma$e & T.I. – “Your Style (Remix)”
Producer: Chase N. Cashe
Troy invited a few veterans to make his summer anthem’s cypher complete. Don’t be surprised if “that New York sound” finds its way into regular rotation.
1. Lupe Fiasco ft. Ty Dolla $ign – “Next To It”
Producer: N/A
Lu follows up his message-driven Tetsuo & Youth single, “Mission,” with a much funner tune. Ty Dolla and the Chicago rapper have a great chemistry and more cuts in the can.
