Janis from Mean Girls said it best: “There are two kinds of evil people in this world. Those who do evil stuff and those who see evil stuff being done and don’t try to stop it.”
For as long as we can remember, Hip-Hop has always had the ability to encourage thought, conversation and action. So we want to voice our solidarity with Ferguson and those trying to avenge the death of 18-year-old Michael Brown right here, right now.
At our New York office, we gathered Moguldom employees from every department and engaged in a powerful photo session. Members from Bossip, Madame Noire, Mommy Noire and yours truly, including persons in analytics and administration posed with #DontShoot signs. Each one offered a reason why cops should think twice before pulling the trigger. Needless to say, they are all moving and thought-provoking as you’ll see.
