Maryland rapper Logic has enjoyed a steady increase in visibility over the last two years. He stopped by The Breakfast Club to discuss his come up and more.
Thus far Logic has proven himself to be a credible newcomer with a most recent appearance on the B.E.T. cypher. With his album Under Pressure finally released he knows that his journey as a rapper really starts now.
DJ Envy, Angela Yee and Charlamagne Tha God dug deeper and got him to talk about Rap music, his childhood, using the white card and more.

1. Drugs His brother was a drug dealer who sold crack to their father.

2. Mixtapes
Even though he built his career of mixtapes, he will stick to albums as that’s where his focus is right now.
3. Kill Bill He wanted to start rapping after watching the RZA scored Kill Bill movie.

4. Biracial
His father is black and his mother is white. He has a large family spread throughout the country.
5. White Privilege? He sometimes pulls out the white card depending on the occasion. So when he is pulled over by a police officer he might consider switching up the swag. He won’t use the n word in public though.

6. No I.D.
He signed with Def Jam Records because No I.D. gave him the best impression during their first meeting. He asked Logic what he wanted in a deal and gave him just that.
7. Kendrick
While he was honored that Lupe Fiasco said Logic is better than Kendrick Lamar, he doesn’t want to be compared to anyone else. He wants to be the first Logic and that’s that.
