Star NBA point guard Kyrie Irving is getting a signature shoe, but first, he gets a special make up of the Nike Air Force 1. The Kyrie Air Force 1 comes in a two colorways, homages to his Duke University credentials and his current squad, the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Coming in Game Royal/White (Duke) and University Red/Black (Cleveland), both shoes feature clear TPU in the vamp (toe area) and quarter panel along with traditional leather in the uppers (the former has reflective paneling. Irving’s signature “K” logo is seen on the rear while his no. 2 is on the insole and his autograph adorns the heel tab. “Kyrie Irving” on the shoe’s tongue where the “Air” in Nike Air would usually be is a nice touch.
The kicks come with a pair of Nike Elite socks in University Red or Game Royal that are monogrammed with Irving’s “Hungry & Humble” mantra, and will stop you from embarrassing yourself by wearing these with dirty socks out the box.
