After suffering an avulsion fracture in two places on his right index finger in 2010, Kobe Bryant opted not to have surgery so he wouldn’t miss any games. The Lakers won the NBA championship, and Bryant ended up with a mangled, arthritic finger to put his fifth championship ring on.
