It’s Big Sean season and the release of his third album Dark Sky Paradise proves that. He stopped by The Breakfast Club to give the people some much needed updates.

Over the last five years Sean has been one of the few rappers who has steadily improved but yet to be respected for his craft.

DJ Envy, Angela Yee and Charlamagne Tha God touched on this and a couple of other hot topics. They got the Detroit player to discuss his grind, getting his credit, relationships, Ariana Grande and more.

So we present the top 10 things we learned from The Breakfast Club interview. Do you think Sean was covering for Naya Rivera when he was asked about potential body odor? Sound off below.

1. Respect

Sean feels like he should be in everyone’s top five list considering he has been on songs with Kanye, Jay Z and Drake and held his own.

2. Recording

Some of the album’s material dates back to 2012.

3. Wayne

Lil’ Wayne actually called him to let him know that he meant every word of praise directed to to Sean on “Deep.”

4. G.O.O.D. Music

Big Sean was strung along for about four years before he signed to G.O.O.D. Music.

5. Jealousy

When asked about Ariana, he made it clear that she is far from the jealous type.

6. Naya

He denied Naya had any problems with body odor even though the actress admitted to skipping showers.

7. Pops

Big Sean’s father is on the album but ironically did not know he was being recorded. His brother was recording him while on route to a Wiz Khalifa show. He had some champagne therefore the general consensus that he was on one.

8. Therapy

Big Sean also admitted he has visited a therapist before. When asked why he said sometimes you need someone to talk to.

9. The White House

His lyrics about meeting Jim Carrey at the White House were actually true. Sean and Ariana Grande performed at the White House where they ended up meeting the famed comedian.  

10. Fakery 

One of Sean’s biggest pet peeves is when people are fake with him. Even more astonishing to him is when he keeps it so real with folks and they still throw shade.
