A brawl went down in a Bronx bodega yesterday (Sunday, March 1), that involved epic fades and unfortunately included robbery and multiple stabbings. Surveillance footage of the fight showed a scene worthy of a no-holds barred WWE match or a kung-fu flick.
According to police, the assault occurred at 4:25 a.m. yesterday, at the 1253 Deli at 1253 Castle Hill Avenue. Three men, two 20-year-olds and 26-year-old, were inside the deli and got into a verbal dispute with the suspects. That escalated quickly, with the victims being punched and stabbed.
A 20-year-old victim was stabbed in the right torso and suffered eye and head injuries. He also had $56 in cash and an HTC cellphone taken from him. He was treated at a local hospital and released. The 26-year-old had multiple facial structures and the other 20-year-old victim was also stabbed in his torso and had bruising to his head and stomach. His iPhone 5 was stolen. Both were treated at a hospital and remain there in stable condition.
From the video we can’t tell who started it but a tense standoff resulted in the removal of a coat and fades began to be disseminated. Homie in the grey was holding on to his foe for dear life as a couple of women reigned down blows upon him. He still managed to hold on when a dude that was outside ran back in and started blessing him with kidney shots.
Speaking of, at the start of the fight, a few people got in a struggle and ended up outside the bodega, where two assailants were stomping out a guy on the ground. It also looks like there was a third set of fisticuffs off camera, too.
What led to this ultra-violence, we have no idea, but the cops are seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspects, seven in total.
