With the spirit of their deceased leader, A$AP Yams, living through them, A$AP Rocky and the rest of the A$AP Mob wreaked havoc on Samsung’s SXSW Milk Music Lounge.
The entire Harlem collective didn’t hold back as they blistered through all fan favorites such as “Trillmatic,” “Pesos,” and of course, “Shabba Ranks.”
Rocky mad sure to test the crowd’s patience for his upcoming album A.L.L.A., with the banger “Multiply,” but there was still a lot of emotion in the air. In a classy–and heartfelt–move, he dedicated his performance to the Yams, whose cause of death was just revealed to be a drug overdose.
Samsung, who did a number reinventing the famed Samsung Studio, gave partygoers from all walks a life a fun and interactive venue to fully engage in the ruckus the A$AP Mob brought. Miley Cyrus, Zoe Kravitz and Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles all scoped the scenary from the VIP section.
