Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill must really be trying to kill off rumors that their relationship is “forced”, because the couple just might be headed down the aisle. After Nicki posted a picture of what seems to be an engagement ring on Instagram, everybody’s wondering what’s really good with them.

It all started back in 2010 when Meek Mill, like many other dudes, was being openly thirsty over Nicki Minaj on Twitter.
Later that year, his thirst levels were at an all time high. He hopped on Drake’s “Miss Me” beat and rapped about how bad he wanted to smash Nicki. He also tweeted some of the lyrics.
And more thirsty tweets came after that.
In the summer of 2013, the pair could be seen in a couple photos together on Instagram. One pic in particular, posted by Meek, was of them in the studio together. This later made sense when Nicki M. appeared twice on Meek’s Dreamchasers 3 mixtape.

Around that same time in 2013, Minaj was in the video for one of Meek’s songs she was featured on, “I B On Dat”. Her and Meek got a little cozy as she rode on the back of his motor bike, BUT she was still with Safaree Samuels at the time.

In Fall 2014, Nicki Minaj and Safaree Samuels called it quits after dating for more than 10 years. Not too long after, Meek Mill was featured on two songs from the Pinkprint album, “Buy a Heart” and “Big Daddy”.

After claiming the Philly rapper was just a friend in various interviews, Nicki posted a selfie with Meek in early January.

Some assumed the selfie was just friendly, but a few weeks after that, Nicki posted another picture of Meek kissing her on the cheek.
And another one of them on what looks like a date.

A week after that, Meek told the crowd at his Best Buy concert in NYC, “I don’t really be with all that Instagram sh*t, but Nicki, that’s my motherf**king baby.”

The new couple then hosted and performed at different events together during NBA All Star weekend in NYC.

But it wasn’t just Nicki posting. Meek made it clear that he knew they were doing too much on Instagram, but he couldn’t help it.

A few days later, Nicki surprised fans by bringing out Meek Mill at her concert in Paris. He also will officially be a part of the North American leg of her PinkPrint Tour.

And…this post happened. People aren’t sure if it means Meek popped the question or if they’re just trolling. Guess we’ll have to wait and see.
