The Hip-Hop weathermen say that Charles Hamilton and Rita Ora’s “New York Raining” is a hit and they’re actually working the record. The new collaborators recently hit The Breakfast Club to lay it down for Charlamagne Tha God, DJ Envy and Angela Yee for a highly entertaining (and informative) sitdown.
At 27-years-old, Charles Hamilton’s comeback is surprisingly firing at all cylinders at a period that would have a crushed a lot of artist’s careers, or worse. The single’s accompanying video has been well-received and like it or not, he’s going to take that Summer Jam stage to complete the circle. Rita Ora on the hand

No They’re Not Banging
Chuck had the “New York Raining” song laid down, complete with a hookline and he seeing that he was feeling Ms. Ora’s voice, he requested her to be on the record. They have the same management team.

The Punch Pt. 1
The infamous video of Charles getting decked by his then girlfriend Brianna was actually leaked by him and not the other way around. He claims he wanted to show guys how to handle being on the receiving end of domestic violence. A noble intention that obviously backfired.

Pure Wisdom
“Just because something is on the front of my mind, doesn’t mean I have to say it.” Hamilton has definitely made more headlines for his comments than his music but now that he’s gotten more experience maneuvering throughout the industry, he’s had time to know to keep his tongue on the lyrical tip opposed to the gossip one.

Dipset Gets Props But Not For The Music
As a Harlemnite, Charles admits to being bullied as a youth and even recalls seeing a kid catch a fade after a high school thug got amped off of listening to “I’m Ready.” It’s still all love; he just retweeted Killa Cam the other day.

Empire State Of Mind
Hamilton admits he came into the game with baggage but now he says a doctor to keep his bipolar disorder in check. And now he’s getting guest appearances on the hottest show on televison.

Smack The Habit
That “baggage” includes getting addicted to heroin in the 10th grade. He says he kicked the habit cold turkey, partially thanks to not wanting to face his Christian mother as a junkie.
No Shade In “50”
Rita denies she had any issues with 50 Shades of Grey writer E.L. James and her character will have extended speaking parts in the upcoming sequels.

If You Fancy Rita, Rock Some Shell Toe Adidas
It may be experienced based or wishful thinking, but Rita seems to feel that any guy who wears Shell Toe adidas is packing in the meat district.

The Punch Pt. 2
As everybody (should know), the fade head ’round the blogs came after Charles dropped a punchline about an abortion his girlfriend had. Turns out, he didn’t even know about the pregnancy to be included in the decision. He calls it “wack.”

Too Busy To Care About Your Slander
Rita Ora doesn’t read the blogs. She just makes sure her Instagram filters are straight.
