You know we’re still collectively wack as a society because people have nothing better to do than stress over celebrities getting their swirl on.

Love comes in all shades, and getting caught up in your feelings over a famous person’s dating choices probably point out more about your shortcomings than theirs. If you’ve found yourself casting shade at one of these 15 stars bashed for interracial dating, relocate your chill and find something better to do.

Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa

Surprise, Amber’s ample cakes are actually Italian and Cape Verdean! Unfortunately, some of her family members were none to pleased with the decision to marry Wiz Khalifa, and they skipped out on her wedding. That’s a cold game.

Robin Thicke and Paula Patton

If we’re putting the 100 emoji stamp on this, no one thought Robin could handle Paula.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian

At some point, you just have to stop trying to understand why Kanye West does the things he does. Arguably, most of the Kimmy K hate isn’t about her race but about her sordid past. But hey, we can’t understand the inner workings of North’s parents anymore than we can figure out why Kanye wants to rap about croissants and go on rants about leather jogging pants.

Azealia Banks and Jesse Bradford

The Rap game Rapunzel caught all kinds of shade for dating the former Bring It On actor. It took a few of her fans and/or defenders to hop on Twitter and remind folks that being pro black doesn’t mean being anti-white.

Romeo Miller and Toneata Morgan

In 2015, no one is really tripping off of who Romeo does or doesn’t date. But he seemingly invited vitriol by preemptively accusing women of hating on his Caucasian girlfriend. Instead, Romeo got all of the shade.

Karrueche Tran and Chris Brown

To no one’s surprise, Rihanna and her navy were the number one haters of Breezy’s volatile union with Karrueche. The ultimate disrespect came in the form of Rihanna throwing a pair of shades and earrings on a pack of rice cakes in a now-deleted Instagram post.

Omari Hardwick and Jennifer Pfautch

When Power actor Omari Hardwick caught shade for his wife, it seemed to be more directed at a stereotype of black, male celebrities dating white women. She was called ugly, and no one bothered to check out if they’d been married years before Hardwick got on.

Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry

To say Halle Berry has been unlucky in love would be a bit of an understatement. By most accounts, she caught shade for getting her swirl on because of the perception of being damaged by previous relationships with David Justice and Eric Benet. Let that woman cook.

Tamera Mowry and Adam Housley

Tamera let the waterworks flow when telling Oprah about the hate she got for being married to a white guy. The shade was particularly puzzling because Mowry-Housley is biracial, but then again, Twitter venom is rarely based on sound logic.

Eve Jeffers-Cooper and Maximillion Cooper

Eve and Maximillion Cooper

The former “Pit bull in a skirt” was accused of being a gold digger for dating and later marrying Maximillion Cooper, but after 15 years of acting and rapping it wasn’t like she was exactly hurting for bread.

Taye Diggs and Idina Menzel

Shouts to Taye Diggs for laughing off any sellout talk. While he and Menzel are now divorced, he joked about the sellout accusations by once saying, “My mama always knew I’d marry a white woman.”

Quincy Jones,Rashida Jones, and Peggy Lipton

Tupac tried to run the old, “Once black dudes get money they have to go get a white woman” routine on Q and got stalled out. Not only did Jones school him, but a young Rashida clapped back at ‘Pac with a scathing editorial. It’s hard to say ‘Pac lost since he ended up dating Quincy Jones’ daughter Kidada.

IceT & Coco

Ice-T and Coco

Given Ice’s affinity for macking, some fans initially assumed his wedding ring was just an extension of his pimp hand. It was equal parts shade and conjecture, but alas, The Godfather of Gangsta Rap is really in love with Coco if he let that whole AP-9 thing slide.

Cuba Gooding Jr. and Sara Kapfer

Cuba Gooding Jr. and Sara Kapfer

We’ve seen Cuba Gooding reinforce a lot of suspect stereotypes, but there’s no need to go slandering the man’s significant other. He’s actually been rocking with Sara Kapfer since the Boyz N The Hood days, so the hate is likely just misplaced anger at his back flipping and other shenanigans.

Zoe Kravitz and Penn Badgley

Zoe Kravitz and Penn Badgley

Much like Tamera, it’s hard to hate on a woman of mixed ethnicity for dating someone who happens to be one of those ethnicities. It shouldn’t matter anyway. Hate on Zoe for occasionally looking like a bohemian bead merchant but not her dating choices.
