Lifetime’s Aaliyah Movie
The hot mess that was Wendy Williams’ straight to Redbox Aaliyah biopic was mercilessly slain for good reasons. The story and plot were laughable, the casting was suspect, and entirely too much time was spent on the R. Kelly situation. This was the rare time a movie died a slow death 140 characters at a time while it was still airing.
