A chilling video has been released in Cleveland, which shows two men beating and robbing a man of his sneakers and wallet at gunpoint. The chaotic scene prompted officials to lock down schools in the area, and onlookers were cowering in fear during the confrontation.

Cleveland’s NewsNet5 reported on the video, which was edited by the outlet for its graphic nature. What remains in the clip is the images of the two men attacking the man, reaching into his pocket to take his wallet, and making off with the bags. According to NewsNet5, the victim of the assault was able to run away relatively unharmed.

More from NewsNet5:

The video was taken at the corner of East 93rd Street and Union Avenue on Friday.

In the video, you can see two men attacking a man, hitting him and throwing him to the ground.

One of the men pulls a gun and begins to strike the victim with it before attempting to shoot him in the legs twice.

The man is able to get away and run from the scene.

The suspects in the video appear to steal two bags and the man’s wallet before fleeing down Union Avenue.

Cleveland police are looking for the two suspects, and their faces are somewhat noticeable in the video. Witnesses who were interviewed by NewsNet5 said that shots were fired, and the two men assaulted the robbery victim. They said that the victim didn’t appear to be shot, but he was roughed up perhaps from being slammed to the ground by the robbery. The crooks took $1,000 in cash along with his other goods according to their accounts.

Hopefully someone has the guts to speak up and get those men off the street before they do something worse.
