While he was less predatory than his real-life counterpart, the fictional Dr. Heathcliff Huxtable constantly stayed around dimes.
Supermodels, political activists, and singers alike all passed through that Brooklyn brownstone. Hopefully The Cos didn’t offer any spiked drinks or barbecue sauce to these 12 famous women who made Cosby Show cameos.

Alicia Keys
You can be forgiven if you don’t remember Alicia Keys’ Cosby Show cameo since she was about five at the time. Keys made her acting debut as one of Rudy’s friends crashing the Huxtable residence for a slumber party during the show’s first season.
Iman
While the plot of “Theo And The Joint” focused on a classmate stashing a roach in Theo’s textbook (and Theo risking a serious fade to confront said classmate), we’ll always remember how banging Iman looked as Cliff’s patient, Mrs. Montgomery.
Angela Bassett
Given how Claire Huxtable was the ultimate mix of brains and beauty, should it come as a surprise she was rolling with intelligent dimes like Sara (played by Angela Bassett) as friends in her book club?
Naomi Campbell
Theo’s thirst got the best of him again in season five when he and Justine tried to study with Howard and Julia. It’s understandable, since Naomi Campbell played the role of Julia.
Tichina Arnold
Before playing the iconic role of Pam, Tichina Arnold perfected her side eye and scowl combination as Delores on The Cosby Show.
Pam Grier
This episode focused on Claire’s sister’s desire to have a baby and Cliff’s failed attempt to take Rudy and her friends to a fancy restaurant. The highlight was clearly a low key cameo by Pam Grier.
Robin Givens
The woman who would eventually become Mrs. Mike Tyson appeared on an episode titled “Theo And The Older Woman” during Season Two. She was studying the Huxtable Family for a school report when Theo unsuccessfully tried to turn the swag on.
Essence Atkins
Turn down for what? When Vanessa got super drunk at an unsupervised sleepover, Atkins played the role of her friend Paula Young. Oh the irony of a Cosby Show episode preaching the virtues of drinking with unsavory characters.
Lena Horne
Everybody knows Cliff had a major crush on Lena Horne. Luckily, he never got the chance to offer her a drink.
Vanessa A. Williams
One of The Cosby Show’s highlights has always been watching Theo get thirsty in the presence of fine women, and Williams was no exception. She played Jane, the girlfriend of one of his closest boys (non Cockroach category), Denny.
Miriam Makeba
What’s more ironic, the fact that Raven Symone’s character knew nothing about the continent of Africa or that the episode was named “Olivia Comes Out Of The Closet?” Bonus points for singer and activist Miriam Makeba schooling her on the continent of Africa though.
Sonia Maria Braga
Mrs. Westlake might have been the original thirst trap. She played the role of Theo’s teacher, and we all remember when she took off her glasses and shook her hair out of that bun.
