Kobe Bryant
After being cleared of criminal and civil charges in a 2004 sexual assault case in Colorado, Kobe Bryant remade his image and went on to continue what is likely a hall of fame career. The woman who accused him of rape in 2003 refused to testify and agreed to an out of court settlement with Bryant.
Mystikal
In 2004, Mystikal was sentenced to six years in prison for sexual battery after he threatened to turn his former hairstylist in to police for cashing $80,000 worth of unauthorized checks from the former No Limit rapper’s bank account if she did not provide dome.
Roman Polanski
If you want to get an insight into how much of a joke the justice system can be, consider the fact that Roman Polanski pled guilty to unlawful sex with a 13-year-old way back in 1977, yet the acclaimed director remains free.
R. Kelly
A series of legal inconsistencies and the disappearance and lack of cooperation by key witnesses allowed R. Kelly to avoid serving any jail time after being arrested on 21 counts of child pornography in 2000.
Jared Fogle
Subway has already suspended a relationship with the man who claimed to have dropped a massive amount of weight dieting primarily on their sandwiches. Jared Fogle has been accused of having sex with a 16-year-old for a fee of $100.
Bill O’Reilly
In 2004, after years of taking the moral high ground on similar sexual matters, Fox news pundit Bill O’Reilly settle a sexual harassment suit with one of his former producers. Reports indicate O’Reilly paid Andrea Mackris upwards of $2 million.
Mr. Cee
May of 2013 marked Mr. Cee’s third arrest for solicitation of a prostitute. He claimed a previous arrest in 2011 that found him receiving top from a man was the result of a conspiracy by the “Hip-Hop Police.”
Bill Cosby
With something approaching 30 women accusing Bill Cosby of drugging them and allegedly conducting lewd, non-consensual acts, Cosby’s legacy will be tarnished for what remains of his life.
Mike Tyson
A massive image overhaul in recent years has shifted the focus away from the fact that Mike Tyson was convicted on one count of rape and two of criminal deviate conduct in 1992. The former heavyweight champion boxer served nearly six years in prison.
Tupac Shakur
The 18-month sentence Tupac served in prison before joining Death Row Records stemmed from a 1995 conviction for first-degree sexual abuse after he was charged with sexually assaulting a 21-year-old Brooklyn woman.
Michael Jackson
The King of Pop never really recovered from the 2005 charges of child molestation despite being cleared of any and all wrongdoing. The 14-week trial uncovered uncomfortable but not unlawful details such as holding hands and sharing beds with children.
Cee Lo
The Los Angeles District Attorney ultimately rejected sexual assault charges against Cee Lo in 2013, but not before the rapper and singer was knee-deep in a public relations nightmare that saw him fire off some rapey tweets.
Ben Roethlisberger
Pro Bowl Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger caught his second of two sexual assault accusations in 2010. Ultimately, Roethlisberger was not charged in either case and fully cooperated with law enforcement officials.
Woody Allen
Much like Michael Jackson, Woody Allen dodged any criminal or civil charges based on the accusations of sexually assaulting a minor. But the details of Dylan Farrow’s various court battles with Allen are particularly disturbing.
