Well, it looks like their house assistant Todd sold Cam’s family down the river! In the opening scene of this week’s episode, Todd tells Reggie that his mother got into an accident, and he needed an$11,000 advance to cover the cost of the bills, even though that’s a quarter of his salary. Reggie offered up $3,000 and his condolences, and I guess that wasn’t enough.

The ramifications from the incident were 2 fold. Sandra Knowles, the Atlanta District Attorney saw this incident as an opportunity to prosecute M-Chuck as a way to bring awareness to domestic violence against men. Yes, domestic violence from siblings fighting! Flaherty and his lawyers advised the family to “Shut the F— up” and let his lawyers handle the situation. Meanwhile Da Chen Bao went to Cam’s house to terminate his sneaker contract because a man getting beat by a woman would make the company look weak. Cassie, Cam’s mom would hear nothing of it, and promptly slapped the taste out of Bao’s mouth to challenge the notion. Bao actually started Jonesing for Cassie due to her “assertive nature”, and agreed to help Cam with his image issues.

Cam went on a media tour, including a popular radio show to downplay the violence caused against him and clean his image. The host went in on M-Chuck and tried to get her to react as ferociously as possible. M-Chuck spoke every cliché in the book, name dropping God more times than the Bible, and handled the interview well. When the interview ended, M-Chuck flipped on the host and let her know she had issues with her line of questioning!

Julius, getting used to the new house, takes issue with his neighbor “curbing” his dog Oscar in his driveway. He confronts the neighbor letting him know that the family left the sh*t in the hood and didn’t want to find it in the driveway. Julius looked to take matters into his own hands and purchase dog repellent. it worked a little too well as it ended up killing the neighbors dog.

The episode ends with Cam watching an overblown media PSA about domestic violence against men starring Cam and M-Chuck. It was complete with a white backdrop, tears, and individual statements denouncing violence against men. Sponsored by Bao, it looked to further elevate Cam’s identity, but Missy (Reggie’s wife) was not amused. The false equivalence used to bolster the violence against men weren’t lost on her, and Reggie immediately exited the scene looking to escape further scrutiny.

Cam keeps lying to his owner, and his family continues to get into hilarious situations that make him look horrible. It can only go downhill from here, and much better for us as viewers! Tune in next week to see how they get out of their latest incident.
