Low Down Loretta Brown is crafty. Erykah Badu drops a new song called “Phone Down,” which happens to be dedicated to Aubrey…Davis (see the credits).
The airy instrumental finds Badu cooing about her ability to “make you put your phone down” and pay attention. Considering how she had 3 Stacks and Common dressing, you shouldn’t doubt her.
She premiered the track on Apple Music last night along with a message that her new mixtape, But You Caint Use My Phone, is set to drop Thanksgiving weekend.
“PHONE DOWN…official leak this ones for Aubrey… from forthcoming MIXTAPE : BUT YOU CAINT USE MY PHONE {DROPS THANKSGIVING WEEKEND} ITUNES LOVE, ms. badu.”
