Even in retirement Michael “Air” Jordan continues to prove that he will not lose. Forbes recently released their list of the worlds highest paid retired athletes and naturally at the top of list was none other than his Airness himself.

Jordan stockpiled an impressive $110 million in 2015 alone.

If you keep up with sneaker culture this should come as no surprise as Jordans Retros have become such a stable in today’s streetwear scene and pop culture it’s basically considered a type of currency, depending on which pairs you have at your disposal.

Then if you take into account his endorsement deals with Hanes, Gatorade, and Upper Deck it would totally make sense that the greatest basketball player of all-time has an estimated worth of $1.1 billion.

Not bad for a man taken number 3 overall in the NBA draft, in 1984.

Just goes to show how much we admire this man and revere his legacy… even if he may allegedly hate Hip-Hop.
