BET Supported The Original Million Man March In 1995
Min. Farrakhan revealed that BET, namely its founder, Robert Johnson, was instrumental in helping bring the first Million Man March, also known as the Day of Atonement, to Washington, D.C. in 1995. Farrakhan added that the March’s success wouldn’t have happened without Johnson’s bold and open support.
