French Montana appeared on Wendy and spoke on his last words to his friend and fellow Coke Boy Chinx before he was murdered in 2015.

The always entertaining rapper sat on the couch to promote his new album MC4 which is set to drop in August. In the conversation he talked about the 1-of-1 all white Yeezy Boosts he was wearing, owning a monkey and how when he talks to Max B over the phone it makes him feel like he is the one locked up because of Biggavell’s super positive spirit.

But things took on a more serious tone when his former partner in rhyme Chinx was mentioned. It has been reported that Chinx’s mother has claimed not to hear from French since they saw each other at his funeral. French didn’t shy away from the question and confirmed that no, he hasn’t seen or talked to her.

In the video he says:

“I love Chinx mom, but I don’t think we ever had a relationship. I never spoke to her when he was alive. I might have spoken to her one time. The second time I spoke to her was at the funeral and she asked me, ‘What’s going on with my son?’ I said I told him to stay out the streets, don’t be driving around 4 in the morning by yourself or with another person. She said you’re not his father. I said okay…”

As to why he hadn’t given Chinx’s mother any answers or information on what why Chinx was targeted, he told Wendy Williams that he thought that was the police’s job.
