The debate between the #BlackLivesMatter movement and individuals who wave the countering #AllLivesMatter flag has swelled in intensity in the past week for obvious reasons. With Black Lives Matter consistently maintaining that it isn’t excluding the fair point that all lives do indeed matter, the All Lives Matter crowd got a lesson today when the hashtag “#AllLivesDidn’tMatter” began trending on Monday.

The hashtag was actually used in 2015 but was enacted again by Twitter user @shelbydasavage last week. It began to grow again in interest this past Friday as discussions surrounding the unfortunate police-involved shootings of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile started taking hold.

So far, the trending topic is exploding and puts the intentions and aims of All Lives Matter under heavy scrutiny. Many supporters feel that the BLM movement is not only anti-police but anti-white as well. Although BLM leaders have said time and again what their mission is, which is to call out the disproportionate killing of Black people at the hands of police, has always been clearly defined.

Pundits on the Right have twisted the image of the BLM movement into a collective of enraged Black youth calling for the murder of police. A leader of BLM spoke out recently condemning the Dallas sniper ambush but still said the group’s message will remain unrelenting even as they too more the loss of the five officers killed last week.

Below are some of the many #AllLivesDidntMatter tweets we’ve looked over just today alone. If we missed any of your favorites, please let us know by way of our comment box below.
