Rudy Giuliani is out stumping for Donald Trump, and forgetting history, too. Today, the former New York City mayor, who most people with sense in NYC couldn’t stand—including cops—told a Youngstown, Ohio crowd that no radical Islamic terrorist attack happened in the U.S. until Barack Obama was in office.
Clearly, the possibly senile Giuliani conveniently forgot that the September 11, 2001 attacks occurred when George W. Bush was in office.
Needless to say, Twitter is currently lighting into Giuliani’s willful tomfoolery. And it’s wonderful—and also sad considering many take Giuliani’s every bigoted word as fact.
Giuliani is in good company considering Trump spokeswoman Katrina Pierson blamed Obama for invaded Afghanistan. Actually, no, that was George W. Bush, too.
