Donald Glover should be smiling ear to ear today. The actor’s new FX series Atlanta premiered last night, and if the Twitter’s enthusiasm is the gauge, the show is going to be a hit. 

While watching the struggles of Earn (Glover), Paper Boi (Brian Tyree Henry) and Darius (Keith Stanfield), Black Twitter was lit with co-signs, LOLs and jokes that made the comedy on the screen even funnier. Don’t sleep on the very woke commentary on mental health, gun violence and LGBTQ issues, too.

We were already sold, but ATL mainstay J.R. Crickets getting a proper homage on the show sealed the deal.
