According to reports, rapper and producer Rich The Kid brawled with members of the A$AP Mob outside a backstage dressing area at Alexander Wang‘s Wangfest fashion event in New York. The fight took place just outside Travis Scott’s dressing room but he was not involved in the fracas.

Page Six reports:

There was a fight at an after-party for Alexander Wang’s Pier 94 fashion show where attendees included Madonna, Nicki Minaj, Will.I.Am and Zoë Kravitz.

A source said that the tussle broke out in a backstage area on Saturday night outside a dressing room for rapper Travis Scott — who was not involved in the confrontation, and performed on a bill with Fetty Wap, Post Malone, Desiigner and Juicy J to announce a surprise collaboration between Wang and Adidas.

The source said the altercation was between members of Harlem rap group A$AP Mob and Rich the Kid, the rapper and producer who’s worked with Fetty Wap as well as Young Thug, who was also at the show.

“It was a full-on fight,” said our source of the scene. “There was pushing and shoving and punches were thrown. Security broke it up and everyone dispersed.”

According to Observer, Wang provided McDonald’s, 7-11 Slurpies, and Budweiser so maybe that was the volatile mix that led to the fisticuffs? Perhaps Rich The Kid or someone from the Mob cut in line? We might not ever get the answer to this mystery.

However, a rep for A$AP Illz says that “there was no ‘brawl,’ no ‘fight,’ and no altercation period of that matter.”
