The Huffington Post posted a piece from a contributor that cited a known tabloid and satire site as a source for the story. The article took a dig at Kim Kardashian and the allegation that she faked her robbery in Paris to keep the media’s attention on her, but it has since been deleted.

The article, written by frequent HuffPost contributor Sharika Soal, flamed Kardashian and the armed robbery as a publicity stunt to add on to the “media manipulation” the reality television star has been accused of in time’s past. When readers on Twitter noticed that Soal cited a satirical website YourNewsWire.com as her source, the response was swift as expected.

The publication hasn’t made a public statement regarding the deletion or published a retraction but the post no longer exists.

We’ve collected some of the discussion regarding the Huffington Post’s posting of the Kim Kardashian robbery allegations using a bogus news source below and on the following pages.
