Vine is dead, long live Vine. Twitter is shuttering the short video-sharing service “in the coming months.”
No worries, for now, if you’re a Vine user.
“Nothing is happening to the apps, website or your Vines today,” said Vine’s statement. “We value you, your Vines, and are going to do this the right way. You’ll be able to access and download your Vines. We’ll be keeping the website online because we think it’s important to still be able to watch all the incredible Vines that have been made.”
Needless to say, Twitter users are reacting to the announcement with varying degrees of anger, hopelessness, slander and hilarious jokes. Also, we get to relive some of the most hilarious Vine clips, ever.
