Though Cornell ‘Cottonmouth’ Stokes was arrested for the murder of Detective Scarfe, there wasn’t enough hard evidence to keep him locked up. Much to the dismay of Misty Knight, Cottonmouth must be set free but didn’t leave before taking some parting shots to the hard-nosed detective and referring to Misty as a “bitch” with a bone who can’t let go. So disrespectful. A certain presidential candidate would be proud.
