“Pharma dude” Martin Shkreli appears to have bought another coveted Hip-Hop album. The millionaire claims to own Lil’ Wayne’s phantom Carter V album.

Shkreli made the claim on Periscope earlier today. To prove the authenticity of his boasts, he played some snippets from the album.

Shkreli, who is infamous for paying the million-dollar price tag for the Wu-Tang Clan’s Once Upon A Time In Shaolin album, did not say how much he paid for the album. He also stressed that he doesn’t plan on releasing it to the public fearing that Birdman may “kill him.”

Shkreli may hinted at this purchase earlier this week on Twitter during an exchange with Lil B. B curved him when he offered to buy his unreleased Black Ken mixtape, but he responded saying he planned on buying something bigger. He then returned to Twitter today to hype it up.

The songs he played haven’t been verified. At the rate in which Wayne records music, it’s impossible to tell when these songs were made. If you have a keen ear for Lil Wayne music, take a listen to see if you think these songs are from Carter V era.
