Here’s an odd one for you. The Trump team reached out to Pro Era leader Joey Bada$$ to perform at the inauguration. Obviously, he declined.

According to his manager Johnny Shipes, Bada$$ somehow made it on a list of performers considered to be a performer at the show that nobody wanted to watch.

Apparently, no amount of money was good enough for the Brooklyn-bred MC to grace the stage and join Chrisette Michele on Snoop Dogg’s “Uncle Tom” list.

Bada$$ does however join the same list as 2 Chainz as rappers who have revealed that Trump’s team reached out to them. Which makes you wonder who was in charge of planning the entertainment and what their criteria was. After stating that Trump’s “friend” Kanye West was not “traditionally American” enough to perform, it makes you wonder how and why Chainz and Bada$$ were invited.

Maybe someone saw that President Obama’s daughter Malia was a fan of Bada$$’ music and figured it would be a good idea.
