The downfall of Bill O’Reilly has been an astounding sight to behold, and now one of the former Fox News host’s accusers has bravely stepped forward to share her story. Perquita Burgess, who worked as a temporary employee at Fox News, sat down with the ladies of The View and compared her time there as “street harassment in the office.”

The Daily Beast writes:

The program featured the riveting testimony of one of O’Reilly’s heretofore anonymous accusers, Perquita Burgess, who spent several weeks as a clerical temp worker at a desk near The O’Reilly Factor’s offices in 2008 and, according to her account on ABC’s daytime television show, endured relentless sexual and racial harassment from Fox News’s top-rated anchor.

Burgess, a black woman, is the person that an allegedly leering, grunting, groaning O’Reilly addressed as “Hot Chocolate,” according to her narrative.

Burgess appeared on The View with her attorney, Lisa Bloom, and said that her first week or so in the offices were without incident but things turned a corner quick with O’Reilly’s persistent leering. Burgess said that flirty words and sexual noises became the order of the day to the point she began avoiding contact with him altogether.
