Katy Perry is catching the wrath of petty Twitter after making a bad joke about Barack Obama in reference to her new hairstyle.
Katy Perry has been reinventing her look recently by cutting off her long black hair and going with a short, blonde look. Like everything else in the world, the internet found it necessary to offer their opinion on what Perry most recently did with her hair. During an Instagram Live session, Perry responded to the critiques by telling a bad joke.
Visibly annoyed, Perry quipped, “Aww, someone says, ‘I miss your old, black hair’. Oh, do you miss Barack Obama as well? Okay, times change. Bye.”
Who knows what Perry was trying to say here. But the internet went on ahead and interpreted as her comparing her black hair to the first Black President and that she was now a Trump supporter. While facts and history will prove that she has openly endorsed both Obama and Hillary Clinton during their Presidential runs, people are choosing to take Perry’s bad joke and run with it as they please.
