Reebok Classic is locking up the Hip-Hop talent. The latest act to partner with the athletic brand is Mississippi rap duo Rae Sremmurd.

The “Black Beatles” rappers are part of the “Classic Leather” campaign, bigging up the brand’s genuinely iconic running shoe.

“When we were starting out, we had all these wild house parties in Tupelo, Mississippi,” said Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi via a press release. “It was all about creating a community for different kinds of people to come together and just have fun.  The Classic Leather is all about defying classification – anyone can wear it, wherever you’re from, whatever your situation is.”

As part of the team up, Rae Sremmurd will be rolling around NYC in a Classic Leather Truck this weekend. On Saturday, June 3 and Sunday, June 4th from 11:30 am to 7 pm, the Classic Leather Truck will be in Williamsburg, Brooklyn at North 9th Street between Berry St and Bedford Ave. On Saturday, Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi will be kicking it in the truck before they hit the stage at the Governors Ball Music Festival that late afternoon.

Rae Sremmurd joins acts like Kendrick Lamar, Future and Teyana Taylor on Team Reebok. Check out images from the Classic Leather campaign below and on the flip.
