LaMelo Ball will no longer be attending high school, this after news emerged that his father, LaVar Ball, believes he can do a better job training and teaching his son. Naturally, Twitter got it with the jokes with immediacy.
LaMelo, 16, and his time at Chino Hills Hill School in San Bernardino, California ended today (Oct. 3) with his dad pulling him out of the nationally-ranked high school. The youngest of the Ball brothers infamously scored 92 points in a game last season and was slated to be a huge star this coming season but the patriarch of the family has other ideas.
The Los Angeles Times writes:
The 16-year-old junior at Chino Hills will be home-schooled and not play for any team, his father, LaVar Ball, said Monday in a phone call.
“I’m going to make him the best basketball player ever,” LaVar said.
Chino Hills is on to its third coach in as many years, and LaVar Ball had his concerns about leaving his youngest boy in the program according to a statement tweeted by ESPN reporter Ramona Shelburne.
