Damian Lilliard is giving back in the name of education. The NBA star will be awarding his new adidas signature shoe to overachieving students.
In an effort to inspire high school athletes to strive for academic greatness, Lilliard is putting up 10 pairs of his adidas Dame sneaker as prizing. The kicks will be awarded to teenagers who maintain a 4.0 GPA while playing for their school team.
He revealed the contest during “The YOUnique Piece” video series with Trail Blazers Sports Performance Specialist Ben Kenyon. “My opportunity is I want to dive into high school kids. I’ll say for high school athletes if they can get a 4.0 grade point average they’ll get new shoes.”
Dame D.O.L.L.A will personally choose the winners and the lucky kids will receive a pair of adidas DAME 4 sneakers in the mail. Interested students can email their Fall 2017 report card to info@theyouniquepiece.com and follow The YOUnique Piece on Instagram and Facebook to qualify.
