Let’s go ahead and give LiAngelo Ball, and his teammates Jalen Hill and Cody Riley, Donkey of the Day for the rest of the month. The UCLA basketball players are facing house arrest in China after allegedly stealing sunglasses from a Louis Vuitton store.
According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the three players are facing 20 days of house arrest that may be served where they were staying in Hangzhou, China, the Hyatt Regency Hangzhou. Also, they will not be allowed to visit China again.
Last week, Ball and his teammates, along with Georgia Tech basketball players were detained on suspicion of shoplifting from the Louis Vuitton store next to the hotel. The Daily Mail reports that surveillance showed the players shoplifting.
Allegedly, Ball got caught stealing sunglasses.
UCLA won Friday nights game (Nov. 10) 63-60 and the team has left the country, leaving the three behind.
From what we can tell, the Balls are well off and his older brother is an NBA player. Gelo, you played yourself.
