Last night (Nov. 12) on Love & Hip Hop: New York, we watched Anais and Ashley finally put their issues to bed while it seemed like everyone else was hellbent on bringing their respective beefs to a head. Even people who have no reason to be back-and-forthing for real.
We also found out that Dream Doll is friends with almost everybody, putting her in an awkward position if a fight pops off. Which she actually seems to relish. We see that in a bickering session between her and Bianca and Dream Doll sounds like every bit of an NYC high schooler on the afternoon A train. Â We’re sure that beef will go pretty far this season.
Pap and Remy are ready to try to have their baby via IVF. But Juju, Cam’ron’s lady, hit her with some sobering questions like, is Remy ready for what happens if the treatment doesn’t ‘take’ the first time. And she breaks down because it’s a problem she’s been having personally. “I wanna have a baby with the man I love,” she says, sniffling. That part. Heartbreaking.

Lil Mo is finally introduced along with her hubby and we feel bad that her son is old enough to tell his mom about what the blogs say about their marriage. Yikes.
Self is going to have his hands full with Dream Doll and Mariahlynn; that’s a fact. But at least they seem to be getting along well so far. At some random Gwinnin photo shoot, the two kick back and have a little girl talk about Mariah’s boo (?) James R., who, yes, is still referring to himself in third person and sounding like he and Cisco came up in the same house.

She swears that the fiasco at her single release party pretty much took James out the game. “After all the shenanigans… I’m wondering if I really know him the way I think I know him?” No, girl! You’ve known him for five damn minutes. Also. Why are these conversations always had at a photo shoot for pictures we’ll never see? We digress.
Later on, Mariahlynn sees James for exactly who he is. Like a pouting child, her bae (?) has decided to go with another leading lady after Mariah checked him and his behavior at her event. “Once Mariah chose Self over me? I already knew it was a wrap. I had some big plans for us. I was planning on making her the leading lady in my video now I’m second guessing everything and I feel like I gotta come up with another option.” Shut up James. Really.
Enter Sophia Body. The former video vixen is working on her (ahem) “DJ/producer career” but agreed to be a part of the video as a favor to James. James, still in his bag, tells Sophia that he wouldn’t necessarily call Mariah his lady. Licking his lips and all. He says that the Gwinnin signee doesn’t meet his “standards as a man.” Whatever, kid.
Poor Sophie. She mentions this to Mariahlynn when she pops up on them at the video shoot later. In the confessional, James says, “Aw Sophia… Why did you have to go and say that?” No James. Why did you say that?

Security isn’t quick enough and Mariah pops Sophia. Good stuff. Welp. At least she knows where she stands with James now. Without question.
Navarro succeeds in getting the two women in his life to have a sitdown. Thankfully, Rich gave some sound advice for once. It’s crazy though. Anais is definitely a flirt but Navarro is always egging her on too. “Up there looking like a champagne bottle…” he said once, then said something about popping the cork. See? SMH. But it got too real.
Prior to the sitdown, Anais met with Navarro one on one and she ends up sobbing and yelling in that congested voice as everyone on the patio continues their conversations, completely unbothered. Production has to work on those small details. Because who wouldn’t gawk at a scene like this IRL. Eh.
Anais lays her point out to Ashley later at their meeting and she seems to get it, shockingly. She explains about the pictures being texted and so forth, which as anyone knows, is a manager’s business so we’re glad these two women gave this issue a rest. Get to the bag!
